Big Rock Ranch is the kind of place you sort of have to see to believe. Tucked along the backside of Smith Rock, owner Nathaniel Potter is busy everyday raising his family and tending to his fine woodworking business. We both agreed it was time for an update, so we got to work.

BIG ROCK BRAND
It was vital to the potters to preserve as much of the original Big Rock brand as possible. Not only was it important for context, but the brand mark itself was stamped and fabricated into features all over the property.
SCOPE AND CONSIDERATIONS
HISTORICAL TRADITION
Retain the original brand mark, as this symbol appears at numerous locations all around the property.
THE LAND
The shop gets its name from the massive, looming rock formations that jut and tower over various details of the property itself.
VERSATILITY
A wider set of marks was desired for immediate use on laser-engraved merchandise, stickers, coasters, and marketing collateral.
